Why Should You Have Learning Materials On The Net? The Internet is growing in leaps and bounds every minute and it is becoming something altogether unprecedented in human history. Currently it is a place where people from around the world are communicating on a personal level with each other-helping to create that global village that we have heard so much about. More than 50% of all US homes have an Internet connection and many more have access via friends and other sources. Kids already go there to do research to write reports, talk to other kids, play games and get other types of information. Wouldn't it be nice if you could use the school's computers to direct kids to a learning exercise or practice drill on the Internet that could help them learn? |
What are they?
"Education objects" is just a fancy term for reuseable learning tools delivered online. They have a characteristic of being portable: They can "live" on different computers. They also have a characteristic of being reusuable. Ideally, a students can go back and do them again and again and/or they can be reused every year by new students.
How could I use Educational Objects to help me?
There are many ways to use them to enhance your classroom experience. These way could include: practice quizzes, drill exercises, visual presentation of complex or abstract points just to name a few. The types of exercises available include matching exercises, ordering exercises, sorting exercises, multiple choice quizzes, and math teaching tools. Costs
Currently I am building objects to order for anyone desiring them. In the future I hope to build a library of objects that could be available to individual subscribers or organization subscribers for a modest fee.
