Why Should You Be On The Net?
The Internet is growing in leaps and bounds every minute and it is becoming something altogether unprecedented in human history. Currently it is a place where people from around the world are communicating on a personal level with each other-helping to create that global village that we have heard so much about. You can inexpensively have a web presence which is as good or better than any other company or person in the world. It's a place where anyone can publish their book, show their movie, sell their talent, share themselves with a huge potential audience. This is a privilege that used to be extended to only a few movie stars, writers, idea spinners, and the like. So don't be left behind, get your web site going today. The later you start the harder it will be to get started.

Do I Need A Website?

What is a website for?
A website has several reason to exist. Mainly they all have to do with marketing oneself or one's product. So actually it is a marketing tool.
How does one build a website that is a effective marketing tool?
As a marketing tool, a website has to effectively convey and receive information to and from potential and existing clients. To do this one has to use principles of design in a way that promotes the person, brand or product in question. For example at the RC Soto Photography site, Roberto is a photographer trying to promote his photography skills. So we chose an all-black background so that whatever photo was being displayed it would stand out clearly. Further we decided the site was about two things: effectively displaying Roberto's work and contacting Roberto about his work. So the site is simple and the links are all designed for doing just those two things. And thus the key ideas of effective presentation and the promotion of two-way communication are fulfilled.
Other websites use more complex technologies and presentations to fulfill these requirements and so, generally speaking, the more complex a presentation or two-way communication system that is required, the more expensive it is to build and maintain it. For example, a an e-commerce site that accepts credit cards is more expensive than one that just communicates using e-mail, because credit cards require special security, special data processing, and other special functionalities.
Costs
Generally I charge $50/hour which is pretty cheap. I can usually underbid any other company or web developer.
Contact
If you are interested in talking over your idea or want to get a bid, the best way to
